Private-client stockbroker Goy Harris Cartwright has launched a managed portfolio service with four multi-fund portfolios focusing on income and growth, high income, global growth and UK growth. The portfolios will be managed by chief investment officer Adrian Neave.
The products, available only through intermediaries, have a minimum investment of £30,000, and annual management fee of 1.25% on the first £250,000 and 0.5% on the rest. Trail commission of 0.5% is offered as well as initial of 3%.
The Income & Growth Portfolio will invest in equity income and fixed-income funds and will be measured against a composite of 60% the FTSE All-Share and 40% the FTSE World index including UK. Its High Income Portfolio will invest globally in global bonds and equities, and be benchmarked against the FTSE All-Share.
Thye Global Growth portfolio's main holdings include Govett US Opportunities, Schroder Tokyo, First State Asia Pacific, Fidelity American and Jupiter European. Its performance will be measured against the FTSE World index.
The UK Growth portfolio will aim for capital growth. The top holdings take a mix of approaches, including Aberforth Smaller Companies, M&G Recovery, Schroder UK Mid 250 and Liontrust First Income.
