Nick Bamford was voted the new chairman of SOFA at last night's AGM meeting Birmingham, replacing John Porteous. Bamford, of Informed Choices IFA firm, will be backed by vice presidents Jo Smith of Park Row and previous director of Pretty Technical, and Phil Billingham of Billingham Associates. Robert Reid of Syndaxi Financial Planing, and former SOFA chairman, has also been voted back onto the executive board of directors.
