The Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) has launched a quarterly index of buy-to-let returns. These indices of rental returns provide national and regional figures and are calculated in two ways: for rental properties financed without mortgaging and those with a 25% deposit and a mortgage. ARLA said the indices allow investors to see the value of buy-to-let property in relation to all other investment types.
