Edinburgh Partners - the recently formed investment management group whose directors include former SWIP heads Sandy Nairn and Graham Campbell - have now recruited Arthur Copple from Merrill Lynch and Alex Gowens of EFM.
Having only received their authorisation to trade three weeks ago, the EP team is expanding further as Copple becomes part of the team this month as director of client relations and marketing.
Copple had been responsible some of Merrill's biggest fund launches but will now head the client relations team - with Gowens at his side acting as client relations and marketing consultant on the investment trust business.
With its additional recruits, Edinburgh Partners' starting four - Sandy Nairn, Graham Campbell, Kenneth Greig and Sam Bleakney - will have a team of 10 once Dale Robertson and Tony Mather take up their positions in October and November.
