The FSA is set to release the findings of its investigation into the mis-selling of split-capital trusts on Thursday this week. The report, authored by John Tiner, managing director of the consumer insurance and investment division, will also look at whether there has been collusion between managers of split-capital trusts in buying into each others trusts and thereby creating an unstable web of cross shareholdings.
