Cofunds is further boosting the number of fund managers and products on its fund platform with the addition of 12 Aegon funds planned this month.
Aegon follows the recent addition of Govett Investments to its list of providers, and nine Govett funds are already accessible from the platform.
The new additions increase the line-up of fund managers to 45 and the range of funds available to 591.
"Over the past year, we have added 19 fund management groups and over 230 funds to the platform," says Rodney Aldridge, Cofunds' sales and marketing director.
"This most recent addition has shown our continued commitment in providing a growing range of funds and fund management groups to advisers and their clients".
Aegon's Steve Kenny, notes that Cofunds was identified as a preferred route for placing business by a number of Aegon's key accounts.
The 12 Aegon funds that will be added to the platform are: AEGON America; AEGON European Tactical; AEGON Europe; AEGON Japan; AEGON Technology Tactical; AEGON UK Equity Growth; AEGON UK Tactical; AEGON The Balanced Portfolio; AEGON Ethical; AEGON Extra Income (Accumulation and Income); AEGON Optimum Income (Accumulation and Income); and AEGON Socially Responsible Income (Accumulation and Income).
