The benchmark FTSE 100 is currently relatively unchanged at 4,204 points after UK stocks opened Tuesday morning on a mixed note.
Britannic Group climbed 21p to 299.5p after it said first-half profit surpassed analysts' predictions.
Molins fell 30p to 380p. The company said first-half pretax profit dropped 11% to £4.9m as demand for packaging machines declined.
Provalis gained half a penny to 14.38p after the maker of medical tests announced that it had made a fiscal-year profit of £1.3m.
Royal Bank of Scotland shed 11p to 1,557p after an analyst at Morgan Stanley cut his recommendation for the stock to "equalweight" from "overweight".
In Asia, Tokyo's Nikkei 225 index rose 19.90 points to 10,690.08 earlier today, and Hong Kong's Hang Seng climbed 36.54 points to 10,939.94.
