The benchmark FTSE 100 is currently relatively unchanged at 4,204 points after UK stocks opened Tuesday morning on a mixed note. Britannic Group climbed 21p to 299.5p after it said first-half profit surpassed analysts' predictions. Molins fell 30p to 380p. The company said first-half pretax profit dropped 11% to £4.9m as demand for packaging machines declined. Provalis gained half a penny to 14.38p after the maker of medical tests announced that it had made a fiscal-year profit of £1.3m.
