Graham Hooper, former director of savings and investments at Chase de Vere, is to join Bristol-based IFA firm Holden Meehan as marketing director.
Hooper, who had been with Chase for 17 years, will join Holden Meehan on 4 December.
He said: 'Although Holden Meehan is a relatively small outfit it is very serious about what it does, and it does it very well. It's a very saleable business and there's a lot more it can do and want to get involved with.
'It hasn't really done a lot of marketing before as it has been getting on with the job of being face to face advisers.
'One of the things I liked most about the company is that it doesn't want to be the biggest, but does want to be the best.'
Managing director at Holden Meehan, Pat Meehan, said: 'Hooper's appointment reflects the company's ambition. We will be looking to Hooper to develop a different type of client business via e-mail and post, in effect the creation of a client list.'
