Life and pensions provider Winterthur Life intends to increase its sales team by at least two-thirds ...
Four business development managers have already been appointed to spearhead IFA support in the South of England in the first round of sales appointments.
However, a total of 12 new business development managers are expected to join the team over the next six months, taking the total number of business development staff to 30.
Nicholas Stocks will join Winterthur, the life and pensions arm of Credit Suisse, from Zurich Life to oversee business development and sales support in Cheltenham, Gloucester and Avon.
Stephen Edmunds will be responsible for the London City area after his time at Norwich Union.
Mark Jarvis is moving from American Life Insurance Company after seven years to manage the Guildford and Slough district, while Matthew Fryer - who was also previously at ZIFA - will be in charge of developing London and the West End.
Additional staff will be appointed before June, according a spokesman for Winterthur, to cover the Birmingham and Midlands, and North England regions.
All business development managers will report to David Thompson, who has been promoted to National Sales Manager.
