The Aberdeen Emerging Economies investment trust has received a requisition for an EGM from City of London Asset Management, which has a 22% stake in the trust. The group wants proposals for the open-ending, liquidation or reconstruction of the company to allow shareholders a cash exit at a minimum of 95% of NAV.
