Templeton has launched an Isa wrapper for two emerging market investment trusts managed by Mark Mobius.
The two are the £608m Templeton Emerging Markets Investment Trust and £37.6m Templeton Latin America Trust. The Isa is also available on one Oeic sub fund, the £37.4m Templeton Growth Fund, managed by Murdo Murchison. Investors can chose to hold just one portfolio or any combination of the three in any proportion.
Regular savings start at £30 a month per fund, with a minimum lump sum of £250 per fund. IFA commission is up to 3% initial with 0.5% renewal commission.
On the investment trust element, fees are up to 4% initial, the minimum being 1%, and there is a 1.25% annual management charge. There is also a 0.5% annual Isa administration charge. For the Oeic element there is a 4% initial charge, and a 1.5% annual management fee.
Mobius said his emerging markets portfolios would continue to favour companies in countries that have actively attempted reform such as South Korea, South Africa, Brazil, Thailand and Poland.
He added: "Our emerging market portfolios are constructed with liquidity and long-term developments in mind. This means concentration on larger stocks, especially those which will benefit from government reforms."
The Templeton funds are available as a mini or maxi Isa.
IFA hotline is 0800 374 328.
