Merrill Lynch Investment Managers' chief investment officer is to manage an offshore multi-cap US equity fund. Bob Doll, based in Princeton, will run the US Flexible Equity portfolio, launched as part of the MLIIF Luxembourg-based Sicav range of funds. It has been designed as a multi-cap fund seeking capital growth from the stock universe in the Russell 1000 Index, which includes both large and medium cap stocks.
