Lifeboat Financial Group's Start Independent has now completed the acquisition of The Independent Partnership in Glasgow, making this its third acquisition and increasing its RIs to 80. Start only gained FSA authorisation in March last year, but since then has acquired Birmingham-based Pinnacle Financial Solutions and Buick Mitchell Avery, before buying Independent and its 18 RIs.
