John Blowers, the man who helped to build and promote Interactive Investor International (iii), has been made redundant from his position as head of marketing at Ample.
Blowers left the firm on Friday 18 January and is said to have no immediate plans after AMP.
Chris Bratchford will now take over his duties as head of Ample, reporting to Craig Mellor, managing director of Ample with overall responsibility for the firm.
Blowers' position was made redundant as part of the integration of the Ample and iii websites and teams, however, officials say the restructuring is not likely to require any further redundancies.
