Edinburgh Fund Managers (EFM) is issuing fact sheets that IFAs can hand out to their clients.
The series concentrates on investing in the UK and aims to demystify the world of investment trusts as well as guide potential ISA investors through the current uncertain UK stock market environment.
The first fact sheet to be issued deals with investment trust ISAs and answers questions such as why invest in UK stocks and shares, why invest in an ISA and why choose an Investment Trust ISA?
Other fact sheets are to include the outlook for the UK stock market according to Robert Waugh, manager of the Edinburgh Investment Trust, as well as a guide to the more technical aspects of investment trusts.
Lesley Drummond, Marketing Manager at EFM, said: "These fact sheets have been drafted in response to enquiries. Many investors are nervous of committing their ISA money due to the recent stock market volatility. However, history suggests that often investors can benefit from investing when markets are at low levels."
