Govett Investments' head of investment trusts James de Sausmarez has departed the group as part of its restructuring process. Noel McEvoy, chief executive of Govett Investments is to take over the running of Govetts' investment trust business. McEvoy does have experience in the industry, being directly involved in the launches of a number of investment trusts at Govett. De Sausmarez, who had previously worked as managing director at Henderson Investors, was one of 17 senior staff and analysts who have been made redundant at the group.
