Skandia Life has updated and improved its internet site to ensure it remains a comprehensive, user-friendly and attractive site for IFAs.
The Skandia website, www.skandia.co.uk, is totally IFA focused and has been redesigned to make navigation easier and download times shorter, so that intermediaries have faster access to an enhanced level of information.
Features of the upgrade include an increased emphasis on fund information.
There are factsheets on all funds in the Skandia range, updated monthly, and these include investment objectives, asset allocation and size of portfolios. The fund performance is also available and updated weekly.
As well as daily fund prices, there are increased search features to help IFAs obtain the fund prices, performance data and factsheets they need.
Intermediaries can now search by fund name, fund sector, fund type, fund manager, their flagged favourite funds, Skandia company and Sedol number. There is also the option for IFAs to flag favourite funds for faster searches, said Helen Everest, Skandia's e-media brand manager.
