Rathbones has confirmed it is close to offering its fund managers an enhanced remuneration package in a bid to fend off any approaches for such managers as Carl Stick. The board of Rathbone Brothers has in principle agreed the move and the group is now working through how the bonus packages will be structured, whether through offering performance-related bonuses in cash or equity. Stick's Income fund has grown from £9.85m to £105m in the four years he has run the fund.
