Robert Fletcher, director of marketing at Norwich Union, is to discuss the impact of the Sandler report on the intermediary community at an upcoming conference being hosted by Investment Week's parent company, Incisive Media.
The State of the Nation conference, being held on 27 September, will cover topics affecting the advisory community and will feature a number of keynote speakers from the industry.
Robin Threadgold, managing director of UK wholesale at Fidelity Investments, will present on the value of advice while Michael Jones of Merrill Lynch will examine the importance of structured products. The three are the final speakers to confirm places at the conference to be held at the QEII Conference Centre in Westminster, London.
The conference, which is to become an annual event, has a programme of both plenary speeches and workshop sessions tackling the key issues affecting advisers and their businesses.
In addition to the three speakers, there will be presentations on topics including valuing advisory businesses, succession planning, the future of with-profits and the pricing of advice.
The event will feature a number of exhibition stands from the groups presenting, along with a dedicated one-to-one meeting area.
