The resolution of the dispute between New Star Asset Management's John Duffield and Jupiter over the future of the New Star Investment Trust won't be resolved until January or February next year. No final date has yet been set for the hearing at the High Court. Jupiter is seeking to force Duffield to split the trust allowing shareholders, made up of Jupiter and ex-Jupiter staff, to choose whether Duffield or Jupiter manage their assets.
