Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (Swip) has added Colin Burt to its fixed-interest team. Burt joins the group as investment director, specialising in high yield, from Abbey National Treasury Services. Burt will be responsible for high yield bonds across both institutional and retail funds. His appointment expands the Swip fixed interest team to 11 specialist fund managers and two economists.
