Frank Russell Company has appointed SVM Asset Management to manage a UK equity mandate of around £100m as part of its multi-manager programme. The money will be run to an All-Share mandate by the UK equity team, led by David Stevenson. SVM was selected for what Frank Russell described as its high alpha investment style and consistent track record. Other fund managers running UK equity money for Frank Russell are Barclays Global Investors Capital, Fidelity, GMO Woolley, Schroders and Threadneedle.
