Norwich Union Investment Funds is to launch an ethical Oeic fund with an Isa wrapper next year, writes Fiona Henderson.
The portfolio, which is to be brought out in January, will be run by the ethical investment team which departed Henderson Investors for Morley earlier this year.
Seven individuals moved including investment director Clare Brook, fund manager Linnet Cotterill and assistant fund manager Peter Michaelis.
Hendersons in turn is trying to recruit fund managers, researchers and marketeers to replace those who left for Morley.
The Hendersons team is being led by senior fund manager Kate Murphy, and in December she is being joined by Rob Lake, recruited as head of strategy from Traidcraft, where he was director of policy, and Nick Robins, who becomes head of research and was previously at the International Institute for Environment and Development.
The group has also recruited Joel Moreland as assistant fund manager from Arlington Capital and My-Linh Ngo, as a researcher.
