The Telegraph is to provide its readers with financial advice through Sedgwick Financial Services.
The group will offer independent financial advice to readers through an operation branded the Telegraph Independent Financial Advisory Service. There will be a trial period through 5,000 Telegraph readers and it is planned to market the service more widely among the readership after this.
Andrew Oliver, practice director at Sedgwick Financial Services, said: "The Telegraph's readership profile matches that of our own client base. We are pleased to see a major brand promoting a full advisory service to its readers, bucking the trend of major brands moving into the role of product provider."
