First State Investments is writing to unitholders seeking approval for the conversion of the Stewart Ivory Global Opportunities Fund unit trust into the First State Global Opportunities Fund, a sub-fund of the First State Investments Oeic. The fund, managed by Andrew Dalrymple, will hold an EGM on 31 October, and if approval is gained the new fund will start trading on 5 November.
