Cater Allen Bank last week launched a website specifically for financial intermediaries which will allow IFAs to download information, brochures, application forms, and daily updates on interest rates for all client accounts.
The site, which can be accessed through a link via Cater Allen's homepage at www.caterallen.co.uk, is password protected. Intermediaries can apply for passwords on their first visit. The applications will then be checked and passwords sent out by surface post.
Antonia Blake, marketing manager at Cater Allen, said that the site would also news releases from the bank and have links to other sites that the bank believes IFAs will find useful.
She said: "The aim is to provide an extension of the services that we already provide to the existing introducers to our accounts making information available to them in their offices if they are connected to the internet. The site is to be as practical as possible.
"If introducers want to check the current interest rates they can. If they have a client with them, or just about to come in, they can pull information about Cater Allen straight from the site, so that the client can see something of the bank's history and details of all accounts which are available."
