Edinburgh's IMS focuses on Asia and Japan

Fund of funds provider Edinburgh Portfolio is to use its multi-manager consultant IMS purely for its Asia and Japan products. IMS, chaired by Richard Timberlake, had been retained by the group to advise it on its full fund range. Paul Talbot, managing director of Edinburgh Portfolio, said with the arrival of Mark Harris in November from HSBC to run the investment management operation, the group is now getting people with specialist areas of knowledge to concentrate on those particular areas.
