HBOS has made further preparations for their identity rebrand and relaunch which is to happen later this year. Today Clerical Medical Investment Management (CMIM) announced the completion of its external sales team. The asset business of HBOS manages over £63 billion assets.
Alan Jupp and Andy Hanson have been appointed as Regional Sales Directors. Alan Jupp will be responsible for the South West and Midlands area and Andy Hanson will be in charge of the North of England. The two newcomers are former Regional Sales Directors of the Lazards sales team and are due to take on their positions 8 July.
Stuart Alexander has now formed a team of six external sales specialists. He said: 'I am convinced we are placed to become a leading player in the intermediary market. The members of the sales team have had years of experience, they know the market very well and know consumers needs. ' The team aims to focus on UK intermediaries and discretionary fund managers.
The team now consists of Graham Bowden, Regional Sales Director, with responsibility for the London area; Mark Dunn, Regional Sales Director, with responsibility for the discretionary market in London and the South East; and Kevin Condon, Business Development Director.
The internal sales team is currently being recruited by Julia Barnes Head of Internal Sales and is due to announced in the middle of July.
