Scottish Mutual has boosted its e-business team by adding three new e-business development managers as part of its drive to handle online IFA applications.
All three individuals will take responsibility for four Scottish Mutual And Scottish Provident websites - www.scottishmutual.co.uk, www.scotprov.co.uk, www.smi.ie and www.spila.com.
Plans are being set in place to allow IFAs to complete product applications online and to risk profile on a continual basis, says Scottish Mutual, by updating from and to websites using a CD Builder.
Existing password-protected IFA sections of the websites include services allowing intermediaries to track commission payments online, get quotes, download literature and acquire client's policy details.
Teresa Darrow and Eric Keenan both already work for the Abbey National Group in similar roles to those now allocated, however, Katrina McGregor has worked in various roles in the industry so has extensive knowledge of working in the IFA industry.
Senior changes have been made to the team, claims David Beattie, head of e-business at Scottish Mutual, partly because "Scottish Mutual is seeing twice as many IFAs registering for Scottish Mutual's IFA Services than any other website".
