The Matrix Private Equity fund has raised £1.5m and will remain open for subscription until the first investment is completed in the near future. Matrix Private Equity is currently considering investment proposals from nine companies, including an administration services company, a fashion retailer, a lighting distributor, a training company and a restaurant chain. Each of the companies has a turnover of between £1.4m and £16.5m and profits of more than £0.25m.
