IFA training firm Adviser Breakthrough Solution is holding a free workshop later this month to explain how intermediaries can cut costs and improve the profitability of the business.
Previously known as Corporate Breakthrough Solutions, the training division of Grosvenor House Group is offering advisers the chance to find out how to tap unexploited business opportunities, reduce time spent on projects while increasing profitability or retain fee-paying clients.
The first free workshop - which from 2003 will cost £200 per session - is being staged at the Cambridge Marriott Hotel on 20th November between 10am and 2.30pm, followed by another free event on 2nd December in Maidstone, and both dates offer complimentary lunch.
Part of the day's overview is to explain to advisers how Grosvenor House Group made the switch from commission-based business to fees and encouraged corporate clients to pay retainers of up to £5000 per year.
Run by Paul Cadde, managing director of Grosvenor House Group (GHP), workshops are designed to show IFAs:
The processes GHP used which enabled business to grow from around £70,000 in the first year to around £700,000 six years later;
How to coach partners into building their own successful IFA businesses, by using the marketing and technical support supplied by Grosvenor, and
The impact Adviser Breakthrough workshops have had on 250 IFA businesses this year/
In this introductory workshop I will obviously be skipping through the topics very quickly and giving you a brief overview of the entire process. Nevertheless, there will be large nuggets of priceless information which you can use immediately, any one of which could be worth tens of thousands of pounds to your business.
Cadde says the events are perfect for intermediaries who feel:
Feel now is the time for a strategic overhaul of the way you run your practice so you can enjoy again working as an IFA;
Would like to earn more money;
Wish you didn't have to work such excessively long hours, and
Have a vision that future should be bigger than the past.
Seats at both events will be offered on a first-come first-serve basis.
