Exeter Friendly Society is launching into the corporate private medical insurance market with a product aimed at firms who want to provide cover for between three and 25 employees.
As previously reported in Investment Week, the product, called Exeter Professional Care, is being targeted at professional partnerships and firms such as accountants and legal practices
The product offers two levels of cover with Exeter Professional Care-Elite providing cover for hospital charges and specialist fees as well as for physiotherapy, osteopathy, chiropractic, private ambulance and home nursing costs. Exeter Professional Care Choice offers cover for major and essential hospital charges, related specialist fees and outpatient consultations
Both options offer moratorium underwriting or underwriting with a full medical declaration. There are also options for excesses of £100, £250 and £500 for each member of the scheme. A worldwide annual travel insurance option is also available
