HSBC International has launched three capital protected products linking to a range of high profile indices.
The Capital Secured Growth funds, available until 19 March, include the Top Sector Growth fund, which links to European companies in the energy, utility, healthcare and banking sectors via the Dow Jones Stoxx 600.
With four-year terms each, the other products include the US Performance Plus Growth and the Nasdaq Plus Growth funds. The US product will follow companies listed in the S&P 500, while the Nasdaq portfolio is linked to the top 100 companies listed on the Nasdaq.
For the Top Sector fund the maximum gain for investors is return of capital plus an additional 85% of basket index growth, with no restriction on that growth. Minimum is return of capital invested.
The US fund has a maximum return of money back plus up to 80% growth subject to a quarterly cap of 5%, with a minimum return of money back plus 8%. The Nasdaq offers money of up to 100% growth subject to quarterly caps of 6.25%, with a minimum return of capital plus 11%. Minimum investments are £5,000, $5,000 or e5,000. Early investors will receive allocation enhanced by up to 1%.
