Fidelity Investments' FundsNetwork will offer enhanced portfolio analysis and fund selection tools next week - 16 December.
The extra features are designed to make fund research easier for IFAs.
The UK investment supermarket is to feature new functions on its fund selection tool, introduce more comprehensive individual fund factsheets and allow advisers to create personal investment reports for their clients using Morningstar's Portfolio X-ray.
The fund finder tool will enable users to filter 565 available funds using up to 14 selectable criteria. David Cowdell, Marketing Director at Fidelity Investments, said: "The entire selection process is simple, precise and effective, because only relevant filters are made available as advisers progress their search. No dead-end options are presented and the tool removes the common internet frustration of getting a 'no match found' response."
The site also offers a one page report on each of the funds it covers combining Morningstar data with Standard & Poor's Fund Research Reports.
The Morningstar Portfolio X-ray allows advisers to view a client's entire portfolio, across all individual funds, and thereby monitor if it still addresses investment goals.
Cowdell comments: "We have tailored Morningstar's core tools to give Advisers online functionality that is truly in its own league. Advisers spend considerable time researching and monitoring clients portfolios, which is where the Portfolio X-ray really comes into its own."
