Andy Clark has joined Deutsche Asset Management as head of UK retail sales ahead of the group's rebranding to DWS Investments on 16 September.
Clark, who was previously intermediary sales director at Fidelity, replaces Nigel Barnes, who left the group last month. He is Deutsche's third sales director in just over two years.
Clark will report directly to Michael Warren, managing director of Deutsche UK retail. Warren said he is keen to enter into the rebranding phase with the correct staff in place.
Neil Jones, managing director of Deutsche UK retail prior to Warren, left the group in early July to pursue his own interests along with Lindy Leung, Deutsche's former head of PR.
