HSBC Republic Investments is launching its first capital guaranteed fund of hedge funds, which will provide a guarantee to receive at least 100% of investors capital. The offer period for the HSBC Republic Alternative Wealth Protector fund closes between the end of July and late September 2002 and will have a five-year fixed term, maturing in August 2007. Minimum investment is £10,000 with a front-end charge of 3%, an annual management fee of 1.7%, plus 1.7% pa to cover the implementation and provision of the capital guarantee.
