Govett Investments has recruited Philip Davies as investment analyst, focusing specifically on closed-end funds. His role will be to assist in the management of investment trust portfolios within various Govett managed funds. Davies joins from HSBC, where he was associate director. He has 20 years of investment trust experience, with companies including UBS, Citicorp Scrimgeour Vickers and Kleinwort Grieveson.
