After poaching players from Schroders, Insight Investment now faces the news that Bambos Hambi and the rest of its multimanager team are leaving Insight for Gartmore. Hambi is set to become Gartmore's head of multimanager investment, with Marcus Brooks as deputy head, and Alexandra Mann, Ari Towli and Robin McDonald likely to continue their analyst roles. The move opens a hole at Insight, which Nigel Whittingham, managing director of multimanager businesss says will be filled by "actively recruiting to continue to build and expand our capability in this market."
