Merrill Lynch Investment Managers has poached Kyte Fund Management's Stuart Niman to be a manager on its sterling fixed income team. Niman will focus on short maturity gilt portfolios and report to managing director of fixed income Chris Fellingham. Niman previously set up and ran the Kyte Enigma Fund, a sterling fixed income hedge fund, and was earlier head of Investment at Halifax plc.
