The chief executive of Lazards London David Verey has resigned following the decision to merge the corporate structure with Lazards New York and Lazards Paris. Verey was with Lazards for 30 years and was chairman of Lazards London since 1997. American Bill Loomis has been appointed as overall chief executive. The move will not affect Lazard Asset Management which operates as an autonomous business.
