UK fund manager Jane Coffey has rejoined Royal London Asset Management to take over the management of the group's UK portfolios. Coffey, who was with the group between 1991 and 1996, left SLC Asset following the merger of the group with Credit Suisse Asset Management. Royal London is seeking to reinvent itself as an intermediary proposition but its UK Equity and UK Growth funds have underperformed the UK All Companies sector average over both one and three years to 6 March.
