Robert Davy has replaced Giles Neville as the manager of the Schroder Global Emerging Markets fund.
This is the sixth fund management change to occur at Schroders over the past six months and the third time in almost three years that the global emerging markets fund has been handed over to another fund manager.
Neville, who had run the portfolio since August 2002, has moved into a business development role as head of product managers for emerging markets at Schroders.
The group has said there currently are no major changes planned to the way in which the fund is managed.
Over the 12 months to 31 March, the £86.2m fund is ranked 19 out of 23 in the global emerging markets sector and has returned -33.9% against a sector average of -29%, offer to bid with net income reinvested.
Over three years it has returned -52.3%, against a sector average of -43.8%.
