TrustNet, will soon launch the first price and performance service for UK pension funds.
The service has already undergone a 'soft' launch on the online information provider's website at (www.trustnet.com), but the group is waiting for the new year to kick before the service is launched fully.
The new Pension Funds section will provide free price and performance data and charts on almost 2,500 funds, bringing TrustNet's coverage to more than 5,500 UK funds.
The new service allows users to select every fund available through a stakeholder; rank pension funds by past performance and view fund performance data and charts over different periods.
The site also gives access to comparative performance tables and users can refine their search by individual sectors. Users will also be able to track the performance of their pension investment using TrustNet's online portfolio tool.
Fund factsheets will also be available for individual funds, including portfolio holdings, sector and regional weightings, investment objectives and contact details.
The new service will be accompanied by a pensions education guide and a pensions news section.
To locate the new pensions fund data, visit www.trustnet.com and click on Pension Funds.
