Frank Eve, former managing director of E-Loan UK, has taken up a new post as business development director at Screenpages, the internet solutions company, following the sale of E-Loan UK to personal finance aggregator Moneygator.
Eve previously founded and developed the first UK online flexible mortgage infomediary called flexemortgage.com before selling the company to E-Loan in 1999. E-Loan was also originally created as a joint venture between News Corp, Softbank and E-Loan Inc but has now been sold to Moneygator for an undisclosed sum. "Through Screen Pages I will be able to help established companies to develop an internet presence which will work with the rest of the business to add value and increase profitability," said Eve.
"Companies realise that the Internet is a powerful communication tool, however its full potential is yet to be realised both technically and behaviourally by most established financial services companies," he added. Screen Pages already designs and develops web interfaces and applications for several UK financial services firms, including Inter-Alliance, Willis National, R J Temple, Britannic Money Investment Services and Home & Legacy Insurance. But according to Phil Hollingdale, founder and Chief Executive of Screen Pages, the expectation is to keep winning new business. "Frank is a great acquisition for the company his experience will enhance our customer offering and help to drive the business to its growth targets. The market for our services is growing and we have ambitious plans."
