David Brennan is to succeed John Bolsover as chairman and chief executive of Baring Asset Management (BAM). Outgoing chairman Bolsover is to retire at the end of the June after 27 years with the company. Brennan will take over the position on 1 July. He has been with the company for 14 years and has been chief executive of the investment management group for the past five years. Former head of retail at Schroders Peter Wolton, who joined BAM on 2 April, will replace Brennan as chief executive of the investment management group.
