Former UK head of retail at Gartmore, Michael Wrobel has joined F&C Management as director of UK retail business development. In his new role he will report to F&C global head of retail Laurence Llewellyn. Wrobel will be responsible for maintaining and developing key relationships at F&C with such clients as banks and building societies. He will primarily focus on the unit trust side of F&C's business including its £336.7m Higher Income Plan but will also have input in the group's investment trust business.
