Pension Advisers Support System (PASS) plan to enhance their pension review services to IFAs with the introduction of 'Healthy Options.'
A range of new options will improve PASS's Pensions Review Healthcheck Service for IFAs regulated by the Personal Investment Authority.
PASS spokesman John Proctor said: "We know that the needs of IFAs are changing and that review deadlines are approaching. The new health check options mean we can help IFAs speed up the review process to meet those deadlines by providing exactly the type of help needed.
"Whether the require regular support, specific help, general assistance following a PIA monitoring visit or simply verification that they have completed their review to the required standard. Healthy Options will provide the review support and guidance they require."
The four new options have been titled Identify, Specify, Remedy and Verify. Identify will act as the started point for most IFAs enabling them to identify any areas of their pensions review which are at variance with guidance. Progress can then be monitored from population identification through to the payment of redress and closure of the file and areas needing detailed attention can be highlighted.
Specify allows IFAs to identify areas of their review which they wish to have checked of on which they require assistance. Remedy is to help IFAs respond to a PIA monitoring visit report and Verify is useful in the final stages of the review when IFAs wish to verify that their review has been completed to the required standard.
