As we approach the end of the tax year and investors look to use their Isa allowance, Investment Strategies has surveyed a number of advisers and fund of fund managers to see which portfolios they will be backing this year.
Although many insiders believe UK equity income and corporate bond funds will be the top sellers in 2003, the survey also covers the specialist, North American and European sectors for investors looking for something more exciting from their Isa.
In the specialist sector, for example, corporate relations manager at Inter-Alliance Charles Ansdell points to strong performance from portfolios such as Baring Korean and JPMF Natural Resources in addition to better-known funds such as Philip Gibbs' Jupiter Financial Opportunities and Antony Milford's Framlington Health.
