The former managing director of Foreign & Colonial's unit trust business, Philip Childs, is joining investment boutique Iimia. Childs, who left his post at Foreign & Colonial last year, takes on the role of head of sales at Iimia on 28 July. At present Iimia is offering a single Oeic fund to investors, a portfolio of investment trusts run by Nick Greenwood. Childs said the plan is to add further sub funds to the Oeic over time, initially with a bias towards closed end vehicles.
