BUPA International has launched a website specifically designed for insurance intermediaries. The site, called 'intermediary world' aims to give intermediaries online facilities for quotes, brochures, administration, commission, news and global information.
On the quote section users can register customers online, which eliminates the need to fill out forms. Automatic membership application also possible, where brokers will no longer have to start from scratch if a client wishes to proceed and become a BUPA member.
By clicking on the commission option, brokers can view their own commission summary and details of transactions - similar to an on online banking service.
"Last year we asked intermediaries what they wanted from our website. We have taken this feedback and used it to develop intermediary world," says Damien Marmion, BUPA international development director.
